Redsquare are a four-piece improvising collective from Dublin playing dub-and jazz-influenced breakbeat, chance operations and 8bit arpeggios. Their freewheeling sound is propelled by one of the country's finest young drummers, Dennis Cassidy, augmented by the interplay between Eoghan de Hoog on guitar and FX and Darragh O'Kelly on keyboards and audio processing. Add to that the inventive trumpet-playing of Bill Blackmore and you're got a band that's constantly pushing its sound to the breaking point.
