With just a handful of gigs under their belt, Togetherness have had a prosperous time in existence thrilling audiences at the 12 points Festival and the Bray Jazz Festival. Led by pianist / composer Justin Carroll the quartet is put through it's paces with a programme of original compositions characterized by shifts in meter and harmonic explorations reflecting influence from the likes of Herbie Nichols and Jaki Byard. The material is melodically articulated by Tenor saxophonist Michael Buckley tightly intergraded with Simon Jermyn on electric bass and Seán Carpio on drums. Togetherness are evolving into something special so watch out.
