Pregnant with Infinite possibility By Michelle Browne

A lone figure stands at the edge of a diving board positioned in the landscape of the west of Ireland; hovering over a bog lake, an infinite pool of black. The work looks at the landscape as a natural resource. The work makes reference to the bog as a source of fuel, or power, and considers the natural resources in the landscape. It offers a space for potential to counteract our reliance on a slowly dwindling source of oil.
