Promenade will use the sheltered bathing and seating areas, the walkway to the end of the Bull wall to present multiple performances to the public.

TRANSPORT INFORMATION

BUS

130 - City Centre to Castle Avenue from Lower Abbey Street goes to Clontarf Road, it connects to Connelly Station and runs regularly every 5-10 minutes. 103 - Omni shopping centre (Northwest) to Clontarf Dart Station goes from Northwest Dublin via DCU and Beaumont, runs approximately every 30 mins.

Get train to Connolly to connect with either DART or 130 bus.

DART

Clontarf road is nearest stop with the start of promenade about 5 minutes walk from station. Station serviced by Malahide/ Howth trains.

LUAS

Get Red Line to Abbey Street to connect with 130 bus to Clontarf.

DIRECTIONS BY CAR

FROM CITY CENTRE

Starting at Dame Street (N81) travel along for 0.2 miles continuing along onto Westmoreland Street (E1) for 0.2 miles. Turn right onto Eden Quay (R105) for 0.2 miles. Turn left onto Beresford Place (R105) for 0.1 miles. Bear left onto Amiens Street (R105) for 0.5 miles; continue on Strand Road (R105) for 0.5 miles. Bear right onto Fairview Strand (R105) for 0.2 miles; continue on the R105 for 1.6 miles. You will find the Clontarf Walkway on your right. Distance 3.85 miles, time approximately 11 minutes.

FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT

Depart; turn a sharp left onto R108 for 0.8 miles. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto M50 Junction 4 for 1.6 miles. Take Junction 3 onto the E1 for 1.9 miles. Turn left onto Collins Avenue West (R103) for 1.8 miles. Turn left onto Howth Road (R105) for 0.2 miles. Turn right onto Castle Avenue for 0.1 miles. Turn left onto Vernon Avenue for 1 mile. At the end of this road you will find Clontarf Walkway. Distance 7.74 miles, time approximately 17 minutes.
